世平經營LCD Monitor市場 提出Philips高整合解決方案

1999年LCD Monitor世界產量為410萬，台灣產出就佔了20%，依Dataquest資料顯示未來幾年將成倍數成長，由今年630萬台到2002年1362百萬，也因為此產品的高速成長🩴，帶動其他主要零件廠商投入，如LCD Panel廠👩🏿🚀，台灣成立了7家，且生產線由原先一條修改為2-3條或在擴2-3廠，但要達到供需的經濟規模可還需要一、二年的時間，且在這之間還需跟Notebook廠Share產能🤾🏽♂️，所以Panel降價的時機可能還要一段時間。
其次在Main IC、ADC和TFT Controller這塊市場大餅部分，也是有很多競爭者，尤其是Local廠商👃🏿，但可同時發展ADC、TFT Controller並整合成One Chip才是最後決戰Digital TFT Controller上的贏家，而Philips則是最被看好之廠商之一，Philips的優勢在於可推出一系列從低階(for LCD Monitor)、高階(for LCD Projector)到One Chip及Digital One Chip產品🚣🏿♂️，提供給製造廠商高整合度之解決方案 - [ADC(TDA8752)+MCU(P87C695)+Video Decode9SAA7114)]，也因Philips TFT Controller - SAA6712(1024*768 ) / SAA 6721(1280*1024) 兩者可Pin to Pin compatible，所以能夠在XGA和SXGA共用PCB板。
